After working for over ten years in the New York City bar scene at Apotheke, Cafe Mogador, and Macao doing everything from bartending, managing, hosting, serving to now co-owning Mr. Melo, I know the industry from the inside out.

From my beginnings to where I am now, I have been able to see how bars operate, how they can optimize, and how to create systems that elevate every level of your business — from negotiating with distributors to creating seasonal cocktail menus that keep people coming back.

The biggest lesson I have learned in this industry is that a happy and well cared for staff is the most integral aspect to the success of your business.
